So, Joe made it back from Africa just in time for Meredith to get a cold....which she has now passed on to me. I shouldn't complain, because I'd much rather our family share a cold than share the stomach bug. But to add to the frustration, this afternoon, I was attempting to maximize Meredith's nap time and got lots done on a project for work. But sometime between the time that she woke up and now (after she's back in bed), my computer shut down as a result of installing some sort of update....and, yes, my 2 hours' work is gone. ARGH!

Anyhow, other than the cold, we're very glad that Joe's back. His little girl missed him very much and was absolutely delighted to see him again after 18 days away. She's been very interested in having us be involved in everything that she's doing....and that she be involved in everything that we're doing. Which makes for great learning experiences for her....and slowed down everything for us.

Pray that God gives me the patience to take the time that Meredith needs....and that somehow my employment won't be jeaopardized in the process. Wow...busy season is here....
